SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent higher education (required)
  • Food Safety Course (Essential)
  • Minimum 2-years in a Chef de Partie role (preferred)
  • Advanced communication and organisational skills
  • Efficient and effective time management skills
  • Demonstrated experience in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • Previous experience within multi outlet resort / hotel environment

Responsibilities

Are you ready for an adventure? We are offering a trade qualified Chef De Partie the chance to delight restaurant guests with innovative dishes at Kingfisher Bay Resort on the beautiful K’gari (Fraser Island), Queensland.
You will bring a flair for creativity and a love for culinary pleasure, are an enthusiastic team player who is not just skilled in the kitchen but also passionate about delivering top-notch service and contributing to the resort magic.
We’ve got positions ready to fill right now, so bring your enthusiasm and style to our kitchen, where teamwork and motivation are at the heart of everything we do.
This full-time role (76 hours per fortnight across a broad rostering system) requires you to relocate and live on the island at Kingfisher Bay Resort.
