JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Chef De Partie to join our talented kitchen team in our National Award Winning 2AA rosette kitchen and restaurant.
The candidate MUST be passionate, creative, committed & a team player!

ABOUT US:

The Sign of the Angel is an independent family-owned Inn. Our team are regional & national award winners! We currently hold 2 AA rosettes and have been featured in Good Food & Trenchermans Guides. We also won Sawday’s Inn/pub of the Year!! We are passionate about great food, drink & service. Located in the beautiful National Trust village of Lacock we have a 50 cover restaurant, beautiful garden and 5 bedrooms.

WHAT THE APPLICANT NEEDS:

  • Someone with previous chef experience, preferably at 2 rosette standard but not essential if the candidate has the ability to learn quickly.
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail in all aspects of the kitchen from plating up, cleanliness and maintain GP%.
  • Flexibility to work hours as determined by the business, shifts including evenings, weekends and bank holidays
  • To be able to drive due to lack of public transport in Lacock

· The successful candidate would work under the leadership of our Head Chef and strong kitchen team.
·We are proud to cook and prepare Fresh, Local Produce, Daily.
· We are open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
· The role would involve a combination of breakfast shifts and straights.
