JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CDP to join our vibrant kitchen team. As a CDP, you will play a crucial role in the food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
  • A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new culinary skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
  • Cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
  • Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.
