Job Introduction
As a Chef De Partie for Sodexo at Sevenoaks School, High street, Sevenoaks, TN13 1HU, you’ll be at the heart of the school, overseeing food and beverage operations, managing budgets, and ensuring every meal is top-tier. What you do:

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory, company, and allergen safety regulations, including HACCP procedures.
  • Take ownership of designated sections, supporting senior chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Assist in managing all hospitality functions and core catering services, supporting the leadership team.
  • Monitor the cooking, chilling, and storage of foods, maintaining accurate records and taking corrective action where necessary.
  • Collaborate with core and hospitality teams to ensure all food production is correct and ready for service.
  • Prepare food with care, paying special attention to customers’ dietary restrictions and allergies.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and implement solutions to prevent service disruptions.
  • Oversee stock rotation, ordering, and waste management, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Supervise and train staff, promoting a positive working environment and maintaining high standards of food quality.
  • Report incidents, near misses, and maintenance issues promptly, attending meetings and training as required.
