An opportunity has arisen for a Chef de Partie to join the team at one of Huntingdon’s most popular venues.
The Venue is a rural complex renowned for fresh, locally sourced ingredients and friendly service. It offers guests a farm to plate ethos and prides itself on supplying the restaurant and farm shop with much of its own produce.

You as the Chef de Partie will have/be–

• Previous experience in a busy restaurant.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A natural calmness and work well under pressure.
• Experience in running multiple sections.
• Experienced on a grill section.
• Organised and on top of cleanliness and hygiene.
• A flexible approach and a friendly, professional attitude.
• Consistent and accurate with Meat Temperatures.
• Can react and adapt to challenging situations in a calm and professional manner.

Will have all the necessary attributes of a fantastic Chef de Partie

• An eye for detail
• A professional appearance
• Stamina
• Skill

The reason for this, is that our Chef de Partie will be responsible for:

• Running your own section within the kitchen.
• Assisting Senior Chefs throughout service.
• Food Preparation / mise-en-place.
• Motivating, mentoring and training junior Chefs.
• Stock Control and Ordering for your section.
