CHEF DE PARTIE

Location: Cambridge
Job type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £29,039.70 per year plus paid overtime
Hours: 37.5 hours per week on a 2-week shift rota (includes evenings and weekends)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team in a prestigious and historic setting in central Cambridge. This is a full-time, permanent role with a 37.5-hour working week and paid overtime available. You’ll be working as part of a collaborative team delivering high-quality food in a well-organised, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a high standard
  • Maintain a clean, allergy-safe section with minimal processed ingredients
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chefs with planning and delivery
  • Keep kitchen and storage areas clean and organised
  • Provide cover for senior chefs when required
  • Comply with food hygiene and safety standards

About You

  • City & Guilds 706/1 or NVQ Level 1 minimum
  • Basic food hygiene certificate
  • Previous experience in a busy kitchen
  • Strong attention to detail and high hygiene standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
  • Flexible and reliable approach to work
