Description
Welcome to Goldie’s - a Palm Springs–style country oasis in the heart of Takapuna, where modern honky-tonk meets desert daydreams and every night carries a little spark. Goldie’s blends warm country charm with festival energy and that unmistakable good-time-gal spirit. We’re looking for people who love hospitality, bring positive energy to every shift, and genuinely enjoy making others feel welcome. You could be greeting guests, serving food and drinks, supporting the bar or floor, or helping keep the venue running smoothly - whatever the moment calls for. No two days are the same, so you’ll thrive on variety, stay calm in a busy environment, and enjoy being part of a tight-knit team. Hospitality experience is a bonus, but not essential - attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic matter most. In return, we’ll invest in you with solid training, support your growth, and offer a workplace that’s fast-paced, social, and full of character. Whether you’re here for a season or something longer, there’s a place for you at Goldie’s. Goldie's is searching for a talented Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. You’ll take charge of your own section, managing prep and service to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes every time. You’ll work closely with the Head and Sous Chefs to keep food costs on target, maintain standards, and help train junior team members. This role suits someone with at least two years’ experience in a similar position and an NCEA Level 4 qualification in cookery. You’ll be confident running a section, managing timing and quality, and working as part of a tight, supportive team. If you’re passionate about great food and ready to take the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you.
