We are looking for someone to join our fun and hardworking kitchen team at the basketmakers pub in Brighton.
As a strong cdp you will be responsible for supporting our head chef and sous chef along with the running of the kitchen in their absence. We are looking for someone organised, who is able to work on their own initiative, work well under pressure and give clear direction to others in the team if needed.
Our menu is based around good quality pub food making the best of fresh, seasonal ingredients. We focus on seasonal seafood on our specials board.
This is a challenging yet exciting position for someone who is keen to learn from our head chef.
You need to be able to produce & present dishes to meet the required standard. To assist with managing & maintaining stock & storage. To ensure work areas are kept clean & tidy at all times, ensuring Health & Safety standards are adhered to.
Hourly rate to be discussed depending on experience.
