The Best Connection are looking for a Chef de Partie for our client’s prestigeous venue near Howden. This is initially a temporary position with a view to becomming permanent following a successful trial period. The client would prefer a full time staff member but will consider part time if the applicants’ availability suits the needs of the business.
As a Chef within the Kitchen team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a fantastic guest experience and learn plenty about food preparation and delivery at the same time. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel to a high standard.

• Documenting each morning what is required before they prepare the day’s dishes
• Cleaning and organising the food preparation area, ensuring COSHH and HACCAP guidelines are achieved.
• Helping to develop an exceptional team under the guidance of the head chef
• Addressing and resolving diners’ and clients’ complaints quickly
• Monitoring the kitchen area and the staff to ensure sanitation standards are maintained
• Ensuring all food products to be prepared are not expired
