Position: Chef De Partie - Events, Dinner Service, and Banquets
The Calgary Petroleum Club is currently hiring for two Chef De Partie positions—one for the day shift and one for the evening shift. Both positions will specialize in creating exceptional dining experiences for events, banquets, and dinner service. As an important part of our culinary team, you will help deliver outstanding service to our valued members and guests, ensuring each event and dining experience exceeds expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Culinary passion backed by prior experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role.
  • Adept at multitasking and thriving in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Creativity and attention to detail in food presentation.
  • Flexibility to adapt and contribute to various culinary projects and occasions.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Culinary education or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Proven track record of culinary excellence, particularly in events and banquet settings.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and delivering results.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as event demands require.

  • Collaborate with the team to create and execute menus for a diverse range of events, ensuring each dish is a masterpiece of taste and presentation.
  • Contribute to the preparation and service during dinner shifts, maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Showcase your culinary expertise during banquets and special events, contributing to the success of gatherings that leave a lasting impression.
  • Work in harmony with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to uphold the culinary vision and standards of the establishment.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
