OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality fresh meals while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean workspace.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen
  • Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques
  • Previous kitchen experience, preferably in a restaurant setting

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
  • Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of meals
  • Assist in meal preparation for special events or catering as required
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operation during service
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages
