We are looking for a brilliant part time Chef de Partie here at The Tivoli, to support our head chef Katie and her wonderful brigade.
We focus on a straightforward, well sourced, wine, beer & spirit selection, Good, classic, nose to tail, British pub style food, plenty of game & offal and very little ‘mucking around’.. Not a micro herb in sight and definitely no tweezers.
We have built an excellent reputation in The Cotswolds, with a passion for freshly prepared, often locally sourced food. We change dishes on the menu each month with weekly specials every weekend.

REQUIREMENTS OF CHEF DE PARTIE

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new cooking techniques.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are followed at all times.
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning.
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
  • Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
