The Wild Tart is a European style restaurant offering all day breakfast, light lunch and traditional afternoon tea in beautiful and bustling downtown Elora.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with meal preparation and plating
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies
Skills:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and cooking techniques
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisor
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
