Timbertoes Unlimited Company t/a Treacys West County Hotel is recruiting a talented Chef de Partie to join our busy and dynamic hotel kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about fresh food, professional standards, and teamwork.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Recognised culinary qualification (e.g. FETAC Level 5, City & Guilds, or equivalent) OR minimum 2 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and allergens.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Chef de Partie will oversee a section of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation and presentation of consistent, high-quality dishes. Working alongside our current team lead by our Head Chef, the role will contribute to the smooth delivery of restaurant, banqueting, and conference food services in a busy hotel environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a high standard.
  • Run a designated section of the kitchen during service.
  • Supervise and train Commis Chefs and Kitchen Porters.
  • Contribute to menu development and daily specials.
  • Follow HACCP, allergen management, and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Manage stock rotation, assist with ordering, and reduce waste.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment in line with health and safety policies.
  • Work flexibly across sections to support operational needs.
