Village Crown is looking for a Chef de Partie.
Located in the heart of Zetland, Village Crown is a Bar and Bistro that does weekly specials, sunday roasts and an extensive full day menu.
The role would be Full Time salary of 68k-75k + Super. Willing to negotiate salary for the right candidate.
As a Chef de Partie you will be instrumental in driving revenue through executing high volumes of meals and assisting the Head Chef & Sous Chef in creating unique menu offerings.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Mise‐en‐place preparation and freshness.
  • Ensuring that all stocks are kept under optimum conditions.
  • Cooking and service of food according to the restaurant’s quality and service standards .
  • Training of kitchen staff as directed by Chef‐in‐charge.
  • Safety and cleanliness of all kitchen and food storage areas.
  • Ensuring high levels of kitchen team performance.
  • Contributing to creating a harmonious environment amongst all staff within the restaurant.
  • To deputise in the Sous Chef’s absence and take charge of the kitchen when directed to do so.

Pub/bistro experience preferred.
