CHEF DE PARTIE – BAR, RESTAURANT, BREWERY & EVENT VENUE

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our vibrant kitchen team at our German brewery, bier hall, and event space. This is a varied and exciting role that will see you working across multiple kitchen environments – from our large main kitchen hosting major events, to our outdoor kitchen unit serving guests in our bustling beer garden.
You’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality dishes, maintaining the highest standards of food safety, and ensuring a smooth and efficient service in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a busy kitchen environment.
  • Background in both high-volume catering and à la carte service is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP principles.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Versatility to adapt between different kitchens, menus, and service styles.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Passion for delivering memorable dining experiences, with an interest in German/Scottish cuisine a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook, and present menu items in line with established recipes, standards, and portion controls.
  • Rotate between the main events kitchen and external kitchen unit, adapting to different service styles and menus.
  • Ensure all food preparation is carried out in full compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment across all kitchen areas.
  • Assist with event catering, large-scale service, and seasonal outdoor offerings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver timely, high-quality service during busy periods.
  • Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and assist with ordering as required.
  • Uphold consistent quality control and presentation standards.
