OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and skilled individuals to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food production meets the highest standards of quality and presentation. This position requires some leadership abilities, excellent culinary skills, and a commitment to food safety and hygiene practices- Along with a Happy, positive personality!

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food production techniques, culinary arts, and food safety regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise a team effectively while maintaining high standards of hospitality.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A passion for cooking and creativity in menu development is highly desirable.

  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained and used safely, reporting any issues to management promptly.
  • Help manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
