OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a CDP, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality meals and maintaining food safety standards. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about all things food
This will be a minimum 25 hours each week, with the flexibility of holiday cover which would allow for up to 40-45 hours in a week. We make everything fresh, so if you are keen to learn and take pride from making great food, then this could be for you.
This role would usually be 4 or 5 days a week

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
  • A genuine passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in meal preparation.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
  • Monitor food inventory levels and assist with stock rotation to minimise waste.
  • Help develop new menu items and contribute creative ideas for meal preparation.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
