DESCRIPTION DES TÂCHES ET RESPONSABILITÉS – CHEF DE PROJET, FINANCE

Les responsabilités du poste incluent:

  • Gérer des projets de Transformation, d’Amélioration Continue et de Digitalisation, visant à optimiser et rationaliser les processus Finance ;
  • Animer des projets Finance Interne, où différentes équipes Finance doivent être coordonnées pour atteindre un objectif interne (sujets organisationnels, demandes internes du Groupe, demandes internes du comité exécutif du DAF) ;
  • Assurer la coordination avec les équipes Fresh/IT et les parties prenantes internes de F&T afin de garantir la livraison de qualité et dans les délais du portefeuille de projets ;
  • Organiser et animer des réunions de manière autonome pour communiquer les objectifs, les attentes, les rôles des projets, les points d’avancement, suivre les problèmes en suspens et collaborer avec tous les groupes et clients pour résoudre les problèmes, le cas échéant ;
  • Définir le périmètre des projets et élaborer des plans de mise en œuvre ;
  • Identifier les risques et élaborer des plans d’atténuation ;
  • Définir des objectifs de projet mesurables et suivre leur progression ;
  • Assurer la cohérence et la qualité de la mise en œuvre grâce à l’application des meilleures pratiques de gestion de projet ;
  • Identifier et gérer les dépendances et les éléments du chemin critique du projet tout en garantissant la qualité du projet ;
  • Élaborer des plans de projet détaillés, incluant la documentation, les tests et le protocole d’exécution, les tâches, les budgets, les échéanciers et les indicateurs d’état d’avancement.

FINANCE PROJECT MANAGER

As a part of its agreements with its various clients, Procom is currently seeking a Finance Project Manager for a company in the banking sector. Our client is located in Montréal.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Manage Transformation / Continuous Improvement / Digital projects, where Finance processes are being optimized & streamlined ;
  • Animate Internal Finance projects, where various Finance teams need to be coordinated to reach an internal goal (organization topics, internal requests from the Group, internal requests from the CFO executive committee) ;
  • Coordinate with Fresh/IT and internal stakeholders across F&T to ensure on-time quality delivery of the project portfolio ;
  • With autonomy, establish and conduct meetings to communicate objectives, expectations, project roles, status updates, track open issues, and work with all groups and clients to resolve issues as required ;
  • Scope projects and develop Implementation Project Plans ;
  • Identify risks and develops risk mitigation plans ;
  • Develop measurable project goals and objectives and monitor progress toward achievement ;
  • Drive implementation consistency and quality through execution of project management best practices ;
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path items while ensuring project quality ;
  • Develop detailed project plans including documentation, testing and executing protocol, tasks, budgets, timelines, and status metrics.

Mandatory Skills – Finance Project Manager

  • Minimum 8 years of related experience, preferably within Financial Services Industries in international environments ;
  • Good knowledge of Project Management processes and workflow (PMP and/or Scrum Master certification is a plus) ;
  • Strong Knowledge and significant experience with digital tools: data analytics and visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, …) ;
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) ;
  • Digital and Continuous Improvement Mindset / Experience ;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely to audiences of varying technical or seniority levels ;
  • Consulting skills ;
  • Ability to effectively work with geographically dispersed cross-functional teams ;
  • University degree in Finance/Accounting ;
  • Project Management/ Consulting profile ;
  • Strong interest in new technologies (Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, AI, Machine Learning, …).
