As a Chef de Rang, you will play a key role in shaping memorable dining moments, ensuring every guest feels valued and cared for through refined, seamless service. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are: Guest Experience & Service Excellence Facilitate the guest dining experience by taking orders, anticipating needs, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all items. Build genuine connections with guests to ensure satisfaction, offering attentive and personalized service throughout their meal. Menu Knowledge & Upselling Comply with Auberge Resorts Collection service standards, while thoughtfully suggesting unique menu items to enhance the dining experience. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of food and beverage offerings, providing informed recommendations with confidence and grace. Order Management & Accuracy Accurately take and place guest orders, promptly input them into the POS system, and manage billing with precision. Ensure clear communication with kitchen and bar teams to maintain smooth service flow. Operational Excellence & Cleanliness Operate, maintain, and clean restaurant equipment and fittings in accordance with safety and hygiene standards. Ensure the restaurant and outlets remain tidy, organized, and in full compliance with safe food handling procedures. This role is an invitation to elevate dining into an unforgettable experience. Qualifications Education & Experience Minimum of two years of experience in the foodservice or hospitality industry required. Prior experience in a luxury hospitality property highly recommended. Skills & Knowledge Good knowledge of food and wine, with the ability to provide thoughtful recommendations to guests. Superior professional appearance, polished manner, and strong interpersonal skills suited to a fast-paced team environment. Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Additional languages are considered an advantage. Availability Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to departmental needs.
