JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assists with the smooth and efficient service of the Bar Operation to ensure that the Bar operate successfully, in accordance with the standard of the hotel and are individually profitable.
• Meet, greet and seat guests to assigned tables
• Present and explain menu whilst providing recommendations
• Take food and beverage orders, accurately post in the Micros system and serve in a timely manner following Rosewood standards and Guidelines
• Set and maintain tables in the assigned section according to Rosewood standards and guest expectations
• Assist to ensure that the outlet is operated in line with maximising profit while delivering on the brand promise.
• Ensure communication with Bar and Kitchen team is clear and effective during the shift. Proper handover done between shifts and any complaints/incidents are logged and communicated with a management team.
• Carry out daily duties as delegated by your immediate Supervisor and ensure daily tasks have been completed before handing over
• Knowledgeable of local regulations concerning the sales of tobacco, wines and spirits
• Work closely with other Outlet associates in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and satisfaction of hotel guests
• Present the bill and take payments
• Ensure that service areas both front and back of house are clean and tidy at all times, meeting the brand standard guidelines.
• Be able to effectively carry out the opening up and closing down of the department when required
• Demonstrates strong communication skills in both German and English

Rosewood Munich to Open in Autumn 2023 as the brand’s first property in Germany and seventh property in Europe. Housed in two landmark, historical buildings comprised of the former headquarters of the State Bank of Bavaria and the adjacent Palais Neuhaus-Preysing, a former grand aristocratic residence, Rosewood Munich will be ideally situated on Kardinal-Faulhaber-Strasse in the heart of the historic city center. The property will boast an inviting lobby lounge and two distinct dining venues, which include a full service restaurant and a vibrant bar. Rosewood Munich will also feature a full service spa, which will house five treatments rooms, as well as an indoor pool and fitness area. Additionally, the hotel will include extensive meetings and events spaces to accommodate a variety of private gatherings, conferences, and special events for up to 400 guests
