Description:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years related experience
  • Must be bilingual (French/English)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Conversant in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A proven track record of delivering sales results.
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Ability to travel within territory with some travel outside of territory as required
  • Strong administrative skills to maintain and improve divisional processes for the management of physical inventory located within assigned territory.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with customers, physicians, hospital administrators, government agencies, medical groups, and other sales representatives.

Responsibilities:

The Territory Manager will call on Electrophysiologists, Cardiologists, Program Managers, Hospital Administrators and Purchasing Departments to sell and provide pre and post-sales support in the assigned territory. Additional responsibilities will include but may not be limited to, developing territory business plans, analyzing territory market dynamics and growth opportunities, attending Regional, National and International conferences. The TM for EP will also have clinical responsibilities and will/may need to attend and support medical procedures.

  • Development of a strategic business plan to achieve the revenue & expense goals for the assigned territory.
  • Establish a market leadership position for all ABBOTT products that you will be responsible for.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the territory.
  • Implement the marketing programs and strategies that are created by the Marketing Division in a way that meets the needs and requirements of the Canadian market.
  • Provide continuing clinical support and sales support to established ABBOTT accounts. Working with sales and management team to develop long term relationships.
  • Attend EP procedures involving ABBOTT products and assist by facilitating proper use of products, and through collaborative problem solving, to optimize outcomes
  • Provide educational services to medical staff and allied health professionals, on subjects related to EP procedures.
  • Contribute to Clinical, Training and Education and Sales Organizations as a speaker/trainer, developer of training materials and/or Technical Memos on new technologies (including competitive products).
  • Working with the Regional Manager in the EP Division to establish and meet the financial goals of the Division
  • Will identify market trends through market analysis and develop action plans to address emerging trends
  • Attend trade shows where new products and technologies are showcased and conferences to meet other sales representatives and clients and discuss new product developments.
