Description

In this role, you’ll contribute directly to the patient experience by preparing and delivering safe, nutritious, and appealing meals. You will work collaboratively with other kitchen and food services staff in a supportive, patient-focused environment.
This is a full-time opportunity working between the hours of 0500 and 1900 Monday - Friday. You must be available to work 38 hours per week and have full working rights to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, assemble and produce patient meals in accordance with dietary and food safety guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP and Downer Food Safety Plans through accurate documentation and monitoring
  • Maintain high hygiene standards across food storage, handling, and preparation areas
  • Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment, adhering to approved safety and cleaning procedures
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and uphold Downer’s Zero Harm safety culture and core business standards
