We are looking for an experienced Chef/Cook to join our very busy Cafe,

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking
• Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen
• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery
• Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and minimising waste
• Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and safety protocols
• Create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
• Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on food preparation and cooking techniques
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
• Excellent leadership skills with a passion for delivering exceptional service
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Previous experience in menu planning and development is desirable
