Your opportunity Permanent and casual opportunities available As a Chef in our retirement villages, you’ll play an integral role in creating nutritious, high-quality meals and memorable dining experiences for residents, guests and the wider community. More than just cooking, you’ll be helping create moments of connection, comfort and enjoyment every day. With professionalism and care, you will: Prepare and deliver high-quality meals in line with menu requirements and resident needs Plan menus and coordinate daily kitchen operations Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and presentation Ensure compliance with HACCP, WHS and food safety regulations Manage stock, ordering and minimise waste Support, guide and work collaboratively with kitchen and café teams Contribute ideas to improve processes, menus and customer experience What you’ll bring You’re a qualified and experienced Chef who thrives in a structured hospitality environment and enjoys working with purpose. To succeed in this role, you will need: Commercial Cookery Certificate or equivalent Previous experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen environment Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards Excellent communication and organisational skills A team-focused, positive attitude with a willingness to support and mentor others A genuine interest in working with and supporting older people Why Anglicare Sydney?
