We provide comprehensive critical operational, engineering and customer support solutions including maintenance, refurbishment, technical publications, marketing and sales activities for the global regional aircraft industry. We’re looking for an In Service Engineering Section Chief to join our ranks!

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of stress Engineers supporting resolution of In-service repairs (REOs)
  • Develop skills of team members through coaching, employee training and development, ongoing assessment, and feedback with the objective to build and sustain an environment that supports cooperation, employee engagement and trust.

Here are the daily responsibilities for an In Service Engineering Section Chief:

  • Performs employees’ PMP Performs employees’ PMP and may make salary recommendations
  • Participates in the recruitment and integration of new employees
  • Performs employees’ PMP and may make salary recommendations
  • Participates in the recruitment and integration of new employees
  • Plan, oversee, coordinate, and prioritize activities of a team of stress Engineers to achieve department quality, schedule, and budget objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership to all stress team members.
  • Define individual goals and expected results for employees aligned with company objectives.
  • Ensure all MHIRJ and regulation requirements are met and support Internal and DAO Audits.
  • Supervise preparation of stress substantiation documents (static and DTA) to fulfill requirements of in-service Repairs (REOs).
  • Generate and deploy continuing improvement initiatives to improve business processes, enhance customer satisfaction, and meet strategic goals.
  • Provide visibility on the execution, issues, and escalations, as needed, to your immediate manager.
  • Maintain technical knowledge and awareness of developments related to Airframe structures.
  • Support manpower planning activities and budget preparation.
