QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience managing hotel kitchens, including staff leadership and menu development.
  • Culinary Expertise: Strong background in Arabic cuisine, grilled dishes, and rice-based specialties (e.g., Mandi).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel for reporting, budgeting, and recipe card management.
  • Team Player: Excellent leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for quality control and presentation.
Responsibilities
  • Kitchen Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and training.
  • Menu Planning & Execution: Develop, refine, and execute menus, focusing on grilled and traditional Arabic dishes (including rice, Mandi, and more).
  • Recipe & Inventory Management: Create, maintain, and update recipe cards; manage stock and supplies using established inventory control systems.
  • Quality Assurance & Hygiene: Ensure adherence to high-quality standards, food safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Operational Efficiency: Utilize Microsoft Excel for cost control, budgeting, and record-keeping.
