SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented Chef to join our dynamic team at The Bay Hors Inn. Located in the heart of Green Hammerton, between York & Harrogate.

• Collaborate with General Manager & Directors to create the pubs menu and culinary offering.
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes tailored to the pub menu.Oversee food production and ensure high-quality standards are met.
• Manage kitchen staff and coordinate team activities for efficient service.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Maintain a positive and productive kitchen environment.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Chef in a high-volume kitchen or catering environment.
• Strong knowledge of food production techniques and culinary trends.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Creative flair for menu design and presentation.
• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is a plus.
