At Gardenworld Café, our management team is dedicated to creating a welcoming destination where guests can enjoy a casual dining experience in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. With beautifully renovated indoor and outdoor spaces, along with our fully licensed bar, we offer the perfect setting to enjoy breakfast, lunch, tea, coffee, or a glass of wine with friends.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef to join our team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• AQF Associate Degree
• AQF Advanced Diploma or Diploma

EXPERIENCE:

• At least three years of relevant experience.

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene
• Ability to stay calm under pressure

• Plan menus, estimate food and labor costs, and order food supplies.
• Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.
• Discuss food preparation issues with managers, dietitians, and kitchen/waiting staff.
• Demonstrate techniques and provide guidance on cooking procedures.
• Prepare and cook food to high standards.
• Enforce hygiene regulations and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• May be responsible for selecting and training kitchen staff.
• May freeze and preserve foods as necessary.
