  • Plan and design menus featuring traditional Pakistani dishes, such as Biryani, Karahi, Seekh Kebabs, and Nihari.
  • Develop new recipes, keeping in mind regional variations and seasonal ingredients.
  • Ensure the menu caters to customer preferences, dietary restrictions, and offers a balance of appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
  • Prepare and cook a wide variety of Pakistani dishes, ensuring all ingredients are prepared and cooked to the highest standards.
  • Use traditional cooking techniques like slow-cooking (for Nihari, Haleem) and grilling (for Kebabs) to ensure authenticity.
  • Handle and store spices and herbs appropriately to maintain freshness and potency.
  • Ensure dishes are cooked and served with appropriate garnishes, sauces, and accompaniments (e.g., raita, naan, chapati).
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on food, ensuring dishes meet both aesthetic and taste standards.
  • Adjust seasoning and cooking techniques to achieve the perfect flavor balance.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they follow proper cooking techniques, safety standards, and cleanliness practices.
  • Train new staff in the preparation of Pakistani dishes and the use of specific kitchen equipment.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the procurement and storage of ingredients, ensuring the availability of fresh meats, spices, vegetables, and grains.
  • Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed.
  • Ensure the proper storage of spices to preserve their flavor and aroma.
  • Respond to customer feedback regarding dishes, making adjustments where necessary to meet their tastes and preferences.
  • Work with the management to ensure that the restaurant delivers an authentic Pakistani dining experience, with excellent customer service.
  • Present dishes in a visually appealing manner, ensuring the proper garnishing of items like biryani with fried onions or seekh kebabs with fresh herbs.
  • Strive for consistency in the size and shape of dishes, ensuring a consistent dining experience for every customer.
  • Understand and incorporate the rich cultural heritage of Pakistani cuisine into every dish, emphasizing regional flavors and cooking styles.
  • Stay updated with modern trends in Pakistani cuisine while keeping traditional methods intact.
