Description
Job purpose To provide exceptional culinary services within a private household while supporting the principals and Head Chef through personal assistant and household operations. The role is responsible for delivering refined, high-quality dining experiences, anticipating household needs, maintaining absolute discretion, and ensuring seamless daily service through strong organization, and attention to detail. Essential Functions The job duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: * Assist with healthy, whole food preparation for the day to day  * Assist with menu preparation for the day to day * Planning, Preparing and Executing large events in conjunction with the Head Chef * Maintaining and stocking fridges in all properties  * Rotation of product in the house  * Assist the principal with day-to-day tasks as needed  * Assist with serving both formal and informal tables * Pet Care- taking pets to and from medical appointments * Cleanliness of the kitchen * Assisting with the cleanliness in the private areas of the house * All other responsibilities as assigned  Competencies and Qualifications * Minimum 5-10 years’ experience as a chef, including private household or luxury hospitality roles  * Experience coordinating private dinners, formal entertainment, and special events preferred * Advanced knowledge of fine dining, international cuisines, and luxury service standards such as care for luxury dishware, etc.  * Ability to adapt menus for events and last-minute requests * Strong understanding of private household expectations and etiquette * Must have the ability to work with a team and be a team player  * Absolute discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism * Ability to anticipate needs and deliver seamless, unobstructive service  * Strong organizational and time management skills * Experience with scheduling and household management  * Ability to travel on occasion if needed, and/or willingness to work in a seasonal capacity  This Company is an Equal Employment Opportunity Agency and will give all qualified applicants consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
