WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • AQF Associate Degree in hospitality, cookery, or related field (Diploma degree preferred)
  • At least 1 year experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen (Chinese cuisine experience preferred)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain quality standards

Responsibilities
  • Planning, and supervising (and participate in) the preparation of all meals.
  • In consultation with the other members of the Management team, develop, test, and introduce new menu items. Supervising kitchen operations, including food preparation and presentation
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards
  • Training and mentoring kitchen staff to maintain consistent food quality
  • Ordering, receiving, and storing supplies according to stock control procedures
  • Monitoring portion and waste control to manage food costs within budget
  • Overseeing daily cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and work areas
  • Work alongside the management team.
