QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Qualification: Diploma level (mandatory)
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in a commercial kitchen (Mexican cuisine preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and handling procedures
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Punctual, reliable, and committed to excellence
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook high-quality Mexican and other dishes in accordance with our menu and presentation standards
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning across all services
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during peak periods
  • Uphold strict food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards at all times
  • Assist with stock management, ordering, and inventory control
  • Contribute to menu planning and development of specials, incorporating creativity and authentic Mexican techniques
  • Train, mentor, and support junior kitchen staff and apprentices
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations
