CHEF

Due to growth, we are looking for a Chef to work at our Farmyard Kitchen by cooking customer orders to a high standard and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Input into the menus
  • Prepping various ingredients
  • Cooking customers orders to a high standard and in a timely manner
  • Rotating stock items as per established procedures
  • Maintaining Date checking
  • Cleaning up the kitchen ensuring the prep area and kitchen is cleaned and sanitised at the end of the shift
  • Ordering new ingredients as required
  • Take a high level of individual responsibility regarding all health and safety regulations and systems, maintaining a high level of safety, hygiene and housekeeping.
  • Wear the correct clothing, maintain a clean working environment and maintain equipment as required.
  • Complete and record accurately all paperwork.
  • Be flexible and adapt to work requirements as necessary.
  • Working as a team in the kitchen and with front of house
  • Help front of house if required

PERSONAL QUALITIES FOR SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE:

  • Experience of working in a kitchen environment is essential as is the relevant food safety certification.
  • Strong organisational, time-management and prioritisation abilities. The candidate will need to be approachable and enthusiastic. This is a fast-paced role which will compliment an individual who thrives in that environment.
