The Inn at Charlestown has 15 bedrooms, 4 glamping pods, 2 lodges, restaurant and function suite. The hotel has been fully renovated and is growing significantly with a busy restaurant and function trade.

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering quality dishes. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of excellence.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is essential.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues in a busy environment.
  • A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
  • Assist in the organisation of the kitchen, including maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of workstations.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and timely service.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
