QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous teaching or instructing experience is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire participants of all skill levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Class Preparation and Instruction:
  • Plan and prepare for each class, ensuring all ingredients, equipment, and materials are ready.
  • Lead hands-on cooking classes, focusing on pasta making and other cuisines.
  • Demonstrate cooking techniques and provide clear, step-by-step instructions.
  • Engage with participants, answering questions, and offering tips and tricks.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate various skill levels and dietary restrictions.
  • Participant Engagement:
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all class participants.
  • Foster a fun, interactive, and educational atmosphere.
  • Encourage teamwork and collaboration among participants.
  • Gather feedback to continually improve the class experience.
  • Kitchen Management:
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed.
  • Oversee the setup and cleanup of the kitchen before and after classes.
  • Event Support:
  • Assist with private events and corporate team-building activities.
  • Customize classes and menus to meet the needs of private event clients.
  • Coordinate with other staff to ensure smooth event execution.
