We’re seeking a skilled Chef to deliver high-quality Japanese cuisine across lunch and dinner service. You’ll uphold kitchen standards, manage prep and service, and contribute to menu execution and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present Japanese dishes to specification and service timelines
  • Handle raw seafood safely (e.g., sashimi/sushi prep) and maintain HACCP-level hygiene
  • Execute precise knife work and portioning; maintain mise en place and stock rotation
  • Support training of junior staff and uphold kitchen safety and cleanliness

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year recent experience in a commercial kitchen (Japanese cuisine preferred)
  • Proven knife skills and fine cutting techniques
  • Demonstrated experience with raw seafood handling and food safety
  • Strong communication, reliability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced service
