  • An opportunity exists for a qualified Chef to join our well established and highly reputable Catering Department on a casual basis. We offer a supportive atmosphere, with an extensive education program so you get to work in a role that offers you work-life balance. AS A CHEF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene levels of food preparation area and kitchen equipment
  • Meal and food preparation for patients as per recipe guide
  • Maintain food stock levels
  • Maintain regular daily temperatures of refrigerators and freezers as per food safety standards
  • Liaise with management and facility staff
  • Lead, supervise, coach and develop team members to deliver exceptional service Lady Davidson Private Hospital is one of the largest private dedicated rehabilitation hospitals in Australia. As an ACHS accredited 115 bed rehabilitation facility based in North Turramurra you will be working in a team passionate about delivering patient care. We are specialists in orthopaedics, cancer/oncology and neuro-spinal rehabilitation, providing both inpatient and day programs. SELECTION CRITERIA:
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cooking
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of HACCP regulations
  • Safe Food Handling Certificate (desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team
  • Highly organised, efficient and effective
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting or hospitality would be an advantage
  • Casual role with available shifts over a 7 day roster including early/late shifts and/or weekend work
  • Shifts are 0600 to 1400, or 0900 to 1700.
  • Full Time Rate - $33.29 – plus weekend and overtime penalties
  • Casual Rate - $41.61 plus weekend penaltiesApplications close: 25st August 2025
