The Kitchen assistant chef/cook is responsible for working under the Head Chef for preparing and working with the food service operations within The Kitchen at Mastry’s Brewing Co.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES, as follows, but not limited to:

  • Work directly under Head Chef/Manager
  • Food prep and par maintaining
  • Assist with assembly and plating during events or busier nights
  • Assist with maintaining equipment including refrigerator, stove, prep table and cookware.
  • Assist with dish washing during shifts
  • Assist with inventory for purchasing food for daily operations.
  • Follow proper sanitation procedures, and ensure any food truck staff members do so.
  • Ensure safety standards are maintained while food is being cooked.
  • Respond and assist with customer preferences
  • Ensure customer dining experience is satisfactory.
  • Expedite food.

Over all work will range from solo to team work style. Will/May adjust based on capability. Role, responsibilities and compensation can increase based upon performance and capabilities.
Additional Requirements:
- Weekly Bonus Pay
- Clean driving record and able to be insured.
- Certifications: Safe Serv (Will be provided after hire)
- Preferred experience: Line cook or strong cooking skills. management experience a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
