As a Chef at SOFI, you will play a vital role in our bakery, preparing high-quality products while ensuring smooth daily operations. Working closely with the kitchen and management team, you will help maintain excellence in food preparation, optimize workflows, and uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship. REQUIREMENTS

  • Experienced baker or chef
  • Passion for hospitality, service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality and service standards
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities
  • Fluency in English and German is preferred
Responsibilities
  • Collaborating with owner Frederik Bille Brahe and the Head Baker on recipe development for sandwiches and savoury offering
  • Working with suppliers, ordering produce and maintaining budgets
  • Monitoring and minimising waste
  • Preparing staff lunch
  • Preparing sandwich fillings and communicating with the wider team on preparation

Tasks

  • Prepare and assemble high-quality sandwiches, salads, and lunch items according to Sofi’s recipes and standards
  • Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and portioning of all prepared dishes
  • Maintain an organized and efficient prep station, optimizing time and resources
  • Handle and store fresh ingredients properly to maintain quality and minimize waste
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as slicers, grills, and ovens
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring a clean and sanitary workspace
  • Work closely with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Support a positive and collaborative work environment by fostering teamwork and clear communication
  • Uphold Sofi Bakery’s standards and values, ensuring that every dish reflects the brand’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship
