We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to take on the role of chef manager in our 76 seater café/restaurant (plus extra outdoor summer seating) within an independent garden centre. Working daytime hours and Christmas off as the garden centre closes fully over the festive period.
· You must have a passion for fresh food – we are traditional garden centre & nursery that grows the plants we sell and that ethos transfers through to our kitchen with the use of fresh and local produce to serve excellent food.
· As our Chef Manager you will be head chef and kitchen manager rolled into one leading and inspiring our team of chefs and catering team.
· You will coordinate with our front of house manager to achieve smooth running and overall excellent customer experience.
· Planning and costing of seasonal menus plus menus for growing list of events such as Christmas fayre weekend.
· Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, health & safety and adhering to all current legislation – we have 10 years of 5-star food hygiene rating.

Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
