REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a chef, ideally in a café or casual dining environment
• Passion for cooking fresh, quality food with attention to detail
• Ability to manage a small team and work independently when needed
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (due to location)
• Flexibility to work weekends as part of your regular schedule

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Bistro/Cafe Chef to join our team and lead the kitchen in delivering high-quality, fresh food in a friendly and welcoming environment. You will play a key role in menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining kitchen standards while ensuring an excellent customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes to a high standard
• Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including stock control and ordering
• Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen in line with health and safety and food hygiene regulations
• Support and train junior kitchen staff where necessary
• Contribute to menu development with seasonal and customer-focused dishes
