JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a full time loyal, talented and passionate Chef to join our team.
The working pattern for the role will be Wednesday through to Sunday.
The ideal candidate will possess strong culinary skills, a flair for creativity, and the ability to lead and manage a kitchen effectively. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food production, ensuring the highest standards of food safety, and delivering exceptional dining experiences in our bistro.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety regulations, and kitchen management practices.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Creative flair for developing innovative dishes that delight customers.
  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for cooking and commitment to delivering high-quality food experiences.
  • Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: £13.00-£17.00 per hour

  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards within the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
  • Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment at all times.
