Job Title: Chef
Location: Skegness Hospital - PE25 2BS
Hours: Ad hoc shifts through the NHS Professionals bank
Currently require: 7 days on 7 days off. Shift Pattern - 07:30-18:00 to cover long term sickness & then annual leave/sickness cover etc.
Pay Rate: £13.24

ABOUT THE ROLE

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

· Preparing meals according to specified recipes and dietary requirements, including special diets for patients.
· Ensuring the safe handling, storage, and preparation of food, maintaining impeccable hygiene standards.
· Collaborating with kitchen assistants and other team members to deliver meals efficiently.
· Monitoring and recording food temperatures, stock levels, and wastage to ensure quality and efficiency.
· Adhering to all food safety and health & safety guidelines.
Ideally, you will have the following skills and experience:
· Previous experience as a Chef, preferably in a healthcare or catering environment.
· A valid Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher).
· Strong communication and teamwork skills.
· The ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
· A proactive, can-do attitude with great attention to detail.
