JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and kitchen management, demonstrating exceptional culinary skills.
As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety, and creating a positive dining experience for our guests.
We are a small independent pub and respect a good work life balance for all the team. Shift will include morning, afternoons, evenings, week days and weekend, with good rotation.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food production.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and interaction with guests.

    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: £12.21-£15.42 per hour
    Expected hours: 8 – 25 per week
