ABOUT THE ROLE We’re seeking a qualified Chef to join our team at Pilgangoora Operations (FIFO from Perth) on a 2:1 roster (days & nights, 12-hour shifts). Working within a high-performing village catering team, you’ll deliver quality, nutritious meals at scale, helping create a welcoming “home away from home” for residents on site. Your day-to-day will include: * Preparing and delivering high-quality, nutritious meals at scale * Contributing to menu planning, innovation and continuous improvement * Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) * Ensuring excellent presentation and consistency across all services * Supporting kitchen operations, equipment maintenance and team collaboration * Assisting the Head Chef and wider team where required ABOUT YOU You’re a qualified Chef with experience in high-volume or bulk catering environments (FIFO or similar preferred), who takes pride in delivering quality food and positive dining experiences. You’ll bring: * Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) * Strong knowledge of food safety & hygiene standards * Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume kitchens * A team-first mindset and positive, can-do attitude * Ability to adapt, prioritise and perform under pressure REQUIREMENTS * Australian working rights * Valid Australian C Class Driver’s Licence * Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screening * Current National Police Check (within 6 months) * Food Safety Supervisor Certification * WA based, ideally close to Perth Desirable: First Aid, RSA or Approved Manager certification BUILD A CAREER THAT MATTERS At Programmed, our vision is simple: to enrich society so that all work leads to a life of happiness.
