Position:- Full Time
Salary Range:- $70K - $80K
Our Client “The Taralga Hotel” is seeking an experienced chef to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate chef to contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Plan menus and estimate food and labour costs.
• Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in line with restaurant standards.
• Discuss food preparation issues with managers and kitchen staff.
• Demonstrate cooking techniques and support team development.
• Enforce hygiene and food safety regulations.
• Assist in staff selection, training, and mentoring.
• May freeze and preserve foods as required.

Experience and Requirements:

• 2+ years experience
• Experience training, developing and mentoring kitchen teams
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to lead and demonstrate passion cooking
