School Chef Opportunity in Romsey

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chef de Partie or above to join a busy catering team within a school setting in Romsey.

This is an excellent opportunity for a chef seeking consistent daytime hours, a great work-life balance, and a long-term temporary assignment that could run for a full academic term or longer.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and cooking fresh meals for students and staff
• Assisting with menu preparation and food production
• Completing daily kitchen preparation tasks
• Maintaining high food hygiene and health & safety standards
• Supporting food service during busy lunch periods
• Assisting on service counters when required
• Working collaboratively within a busy catering team

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or higher
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• A positive and flexible attitude
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
