Temporary Chef Required

Care Home | Near Crieff | Up to 3 Days Per Week

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Temporary Chef to support a friendly care home located near Crieff.

This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys preparing nutritious, home-style meals and making a positive difference to residents' daily lives.

Position Details

• Temporary assignment for a minimum of 5 weeks
• 3 or 4 shifts per week
• Hourly rate can be negotiated
• Day shifts
• 1st September start available

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking high-quality meals for residents
• Catering for dietary requirements, allergies, and special nutritional needs
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
• Managing stock and assisting with kitchen organisation
• Working closely with care home staff to ensure an excellent dining experience for residents

Requirements

• Previous chef experience, ideally within a care home, healthcare, hospitality, or catering environment
• Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred)
• Knowledge of dietary and nutritional requirements
• Reliable, professional, and compassionate approach
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy kitchen
• IDDSI aware
