CONTRACT TYPE: FULL TIME, ALTERNATE WEEKENDS

We’re looking for an experienced Chef to join our St Marys Group Team at our brand new service due. Your passion for the highest quality care and the kindness to want to make a difference to the lives of individuals is essential to your success in this role.
Our homes provide a range of care and support services for our residents, some of whom live with dementia.

Chef /Cook Duties include but not limited to:

  • Prepare, cook and serve hot and cold meals as and when required.
  • Provide for special dietary requirements when necessary and take into account preferences of the residents.
  • Maintain accurate records of food supplies/freezers and fridge temperatures.
  • Manage food budgets & cost control. Ensure stock rotation, order stock and check deliveries.
  • Supervise and instruct Kitchen Staff members in the use of all equipment and hygiene procedures.
  • Ensure the kitchen is safe, clean and tidy at all times.
  • Assist with food preparation and catering in accordance with Health and Safety and Food Standard regulations.
